For years, Psych Central has organized community fund drives for members of its Psych Central Community. These fund drives have been focused on individuals in our community who are in dire financial need due to a one-time difficulty, emergency, medical bill, or other situation where such financial help can mean the difference between making it through the month or being homeless. Since its inception in 2005, the fund drives have raised over $12,000 for over two dozen members. Psych Central Community Connection is the home for these fund drives and is a 501(c)(3) public charity.
We received our Internal Revenue Service notice letter that we are now recognized as a 501(c)(3) public charity by the IRS. That means your donations to our organization may be tax-deductible; check with your tax professional (or tax software) to be certain.
Thank you for your support and continued efforts to help us help others!
Welcome to Psych Central Community Connection.
Our organization is dedicated to providing personal grants — also known as micro-grants — to people who suffer from a mental health concern and are a member of the Psych Central Community. People applying for a grant must show financial need and hardship.
